Chesney becomes the first country artist to headline at the Sphere.
They say "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas." But an upcoming series of ground-breaking shows might be something worth remembering. Country star Kenny Chesney has announced he will become the first country artist to play as a headliner at the Sphere music and entertainment venue in Las Vegas, Nevada. Chesney will start a residency of shows at the world-famous venue kicking off on May 22nd.
The country star joins U-2, Eagles, and Phish who have also played extended concert runs at the Sphere. Chesney has been rehearsing for the upcoming shows and reveals that he will be performing "four or five songs in the set, or maybe even more..." that previously have not been included in his live shows.
