Hurricane Milton ripped the roof off of Tropicana Field in Tampa Bay.
The roof at Tropicana Field in Tampa Bay was shredded by Hurricane Milton made it's way through Florida last night.
The field was actually being used as a base camp for thousands of first responders as the Category 3 hurricane made land fall Wednesday night. Originally, the storm tore a hole in the roof above the 3rd base side of the field but due to the extremely powerful sustained winds, most of the other sections collapsed leaving roofing material in the infield and throughout the stands of the stadium.
Thankfully, there were no injuries reported from the roofs collapse.
