Spectacular Marathon Dance Spreads Love And Delivers Enormous Total

The 2025 South High Marathon dance was a massive success!

This past Friday and Saturday, students from South Glens Falls danced, and then danced some more!

The 48th Annual South High Marathon Dance was a tremendous success! Yes, the night was filled with a lot of fun and dancing but it was all for a great cause. Actually it was for 34 great causes. As we said last week, for any student to participate in the marathon dance, they must raise at least $150. This year, when all was said and done the dance raised $700,528.31! 

The leading fundraiser was Aiden Osborn who was able to raise $10,835.34, followed by William Lewis who raised $5,530.06 and Parker Simon who raised $5,228.40!

The money that was raised will be divided up with will benefit the families of -

  • Doug Hall

  • Christopher Johnson
