High anticipation as Proctors Collaborative reveals 2024-25 show lineup

Last night, the Proctors Collaborative hosted an exciting event, "The Not So Late-Night Show," on the MainStage at Proctors in Schenectady. The event was not just a night of entertainment, but also a platform to announce the 2024-25 season for both Proctors and the Capital Repertory Theatre in Albany. The evening was filled with anticipation as the audience awaited the reveal of the upcoming season's line-up.

The Proctors Collaborative has always been known for its diverse and high-quality productions, and the upcoming KeyBank Subscription Series promises to uphold this tradition kicking off the series in September with the Chicago prohibition musical, “Some Like it Hot.” The line-up continues with a mix of classic and contemporary plays, musicals, and unique performances that cater to a wide range of tastes including in December when “MJ,” the multi-Tony Award®-winning new musical makes its debut on the Proctors Stage.

2025 at the theatre kicks off with “Parade” in January and “Life of Pi” hitting the stage in February.  By April we’ll be laughing with “Funny Girl,” and enjoying a childhood favorite when the Disney classic “Beauty and the Beast” takes the stage in June.  Proctors also announced subscriber exclusive add-ons with “Hadestown” in October 2024, “Come From Away” in March 2025 and “Clue” in May 2025.

The Capital Repertory Theatre in Albany, better known as theREP, part of the Proctors Collaborative, also unveiled its line-up for the 2024-25 season. The theatre, known for its intimate setting and innovative productions, promises a season filled with thought-provoking plays and captivating performances kicks off its 2024-25 season, presented by OverIt, with “Seared” by Theresa Rebeck. Just in time for the holidays “A Sherlock Carol” by Mark Shanahan joins the lineup and “The Lehman Trilogy” by Stefano Massini kicks off 2025.  By April theREP will welcome “Rosie is Red And Everybody is Blue” by John Spellos and wrapping up the season in July “Once” Book by Enda Walsh will take the stage.
